The Red Vixens art & concept (c) Susan E Fenton

Meet the Author
& Creator

Susan E Fenton

This is my sister Susan. I am her older sister. I feel I am
the best one to write this little blurb about my dear sister.
She didn't want to do it, so I will.

Susan E began the whole concept of The Red Vixens over
20 years ago when she was still in high school and actively
involved in the role-playing game, Dungeons & Dragons.
She developed the character of Lilithe for herself in
the game, and soon developed other characters to interact
with Lilithe. Thus, the Red Vixens were born.

Of course Lilithe was leader material...Susan E
herself is a strong, assertive woman who knows how to
take care of business. As a certified computer trainer, she
teaches people how to use their computers as well as
training fellow professionals who wish to get their
certifications.

DiamondFire, Lilithe's mystical sword

Prior to going back to school as a 30+yr old adult in a
mostly male industry, she was an aesthetician. She was
top of her field and very well-known for her nail art.
She painted the most exquisite artwork on women and
children's nails. Her nail art was even showcased in
the local newspaper. Her love of drawing and painting
was perfectly shown to advantage in her nail art.

However, pain set into her wrist and arm, and she was
forced to quit her job. Originally thinking it was
carpal tunnel syndrome, she was eventually diagnosed
with fibromyalgia. If you are unaware of this
invisible condition, please look it up on the Links
page where there are some good links to fibromyalgia sites.
I say invisible because sufferers often look quite healthy
on the outside. But inside, their bodies are screaming in
pain. It is a disorder of the nerve endings that causes pain
in every part of the body.

I have watched my sister suffer with this condition since
1990 or so, and she rarely complains and never lets it
stop her. I admire her courage and perseverance
tremendously. She never once let it interfere with her life.
She never let it stop her from having a baby at 37 either.
Susan E has that kind of determination.
Lilithe would be proud. heh heh

Wolfcry, Feroo's sword

Art has always been a passion for Susan E, as evidenced
by her excellence in nail art, and you will find that
most of the artwork in this site are her drawings from
the mid to late 1980s. Resizing them to the extent I
needed to in order to get the images to fit on these
pages, so much of the fine detail is left out. The
images you see do not do justice to her fine artwork.
Her medium was pencil and ink, and the colored pencil
lines do not blend well at the resizing level I am using.

Black Magic, Vashti's sword

Although she still teaches computer subjects on a
part-time basis, her love of writing has resurfaced
and she has finally decided to resurrect her old
stories of Lilithe and the Red Vixens and revamp
them into novels. Her saga is very well-developed
and thought out. She has over 20 years of notes to
draw upon! Over the years, she has kept adding notes
to her original stories and now has an impressive
databank of information on the characters, places
and events that she has dreamed up over the years.

We are endeavoring to bring this all to you, but you will
have to be patient. There is much still to do. I am laboring
over her old notes and trying to organize it into some
coherence so that her readers will be able to follow along
without getting lost along the way!
And Susan E has many more books to write!
